Space Race Press Release

The website for "Space Race" went live this morning. The video for Robin (the character I play) is still in the works, but the website is radtastic! Send e-cards, play games, and watch the trailer here: www.spaceracekids.com

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Space Race (www.spaceracekids.com), winner
of a Kids First! Award for best screenplay for children, will launch
today as a fully animated, action packed web series focusing on space
education, space travel and racing. Directed by Emmy award winning
director Mark Risley, each Space Race webisode is hosted by "Gary
Galaxy," played by children's theatrical star Meyer deLeeuw. Space
Race has also partnered with Speakaboos, the award-winning publisher
of digital children's stories, to launch "Journey to Space Month"
April 1st.

"Space Race is action-packed and humorous with educational components
as well," says Richard Schweiger, CEO and executive producer of Space
Race. "Each webisode features an interview with one of our star
characters and an education module which will provide more detail
about a certain part of our solar system; Eagle Wingstrong teaches
about Earth, Vulture Albatross: space stations, Colonel Coot: Mars and
so on." Meyer deLeeuw, who will host as Gary Galaxy, is an experienced
children's entertainer; as lead character "Joe," he toured hundreds of
North American cities for Nickelodeon's live theatrical stage show,
"Blue's Clues Live!" "We are very excited to have Meyer on board,"
says Schweiger.

During Journey to Space Month, Speakaboos stories and games will
revolve around space themes. Children will be able to watch Space Race
episodes and engage in related interactive games, widgets, educational
guides, trivia and more. "We see an underserved market demanding space
related education, themes and storylines," says Julian Cohen, Chief
Marketing Officer. He says, "With Speakaboos, we can meet the needs of
parents, teachers and anyone interested in learning more about space
through a completely immersive and 'out of this world' experience."

Cohen explains the website content in depth saying, "It's engaging and
informative. Parents can interact with their children while everyone
learns more about space." Space Race games include Galaxy Adventure 3D
(a "Mario Kart" style racing game) and Trivia, while the "What
Spaceship are You?" widget will enable children to answer a series of
fun questions to figure out which Space Race character most resembles
their personalities and interests.

A parents and teachers section will include educational guides,
supplements and flash cards. The printable items incorporate Space
Race characters, themes and activities. Some curriculum sections
include: Arts + Crafts: Build Your Own Spaceship; Recipes: Moon Balls;
and Picture Puzzle: Space Race. Parents and teachers will be able to
promote a love of space, exploration and adventure using Space Race
themed flash cards. An electronic coloring page allows kids to color
in their own Space Race characters and pictures before printing them
out and sharing with friends and family. Schweiger says, "The kids
will have you clearing some refrigerator door space so they can
proudly display their creations."

"Alondra Smiles: A Quinceañera Story" is awarded the Dove Family-Approved Seal from The Dove Foundation. World-wide DVD Release June 1st.

Big news from the film I acted in!

Los Angeles, CA - May 25, 2010) - The multi award-winning feature film "Alondra Smiles: A Quinceañera Story" garnered the Dove Family-Approved Seal from The Dove Foundation. The Dove Seal has been a symbol of trust assigned to family-friendly entertainment since 1991.

Currently, families face tough decisions on movies they can go see or rent that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Thanks to The Dove Foundation, Hollywood is beginning to recognize that there is a need and market for quality entertainment free from offensive material. The foundation enables families to make intelligent choices concerning the entertainment they allow their children to view. They search for entertainment that is safe for families and award those films a Dove Family-Approved Seal.

"The Dove Foundation has established itself as a valuable resource for consumers seeking quality entertainment and programming that's suitable for their entire household," said Jeff Yordy, VP of Marketing at Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, about the organization.

"Alondra Smiles: A Quinceañera Story" is a modern-day Cinderella story with a modern spin. Two cousins prepare to have their 15th birthday celebrations. Alondra (Natalie Gomez-Robinson) is a sweet, hard-working fourteen-year-old student who's planning to have a very special quinceañera, and her spoiled cousin Tatiana (Paloma Rodriguez) wants to ruin Alondra's plans.

"Alondra Smiles: A Quinceañera Story" is an independent film that has traveled in film festivals throughout the U.S. and internationally, from a small screenings in Iowa to sold-out crowds in Los Angeles, to festivals in Canada, South Africa, Dubai, Colombia and England, where it garnered the Best International Feature Film at the Heart of England International Film Festival.

DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, CA – Following up on “Cocktails & Art Party #1: Ode to the Rat Pack,” Jerico Woggon presents his second monthly art event of the year “Ode to the Lounge Lizard – A Cocktail Napkin Art Invitational.” Guests are invited to create a work of art on a cocktail napkin using art materials provided by the house. Each napkin will be exhibited on the lounge wall, and each guest can trade, sell or take the art home. The mixer is designed to get artists out of their studios and into the cocktail lounge atmosphere. Instead of bringing the art, show up and make art!

Emmeric Konrad, e3rd resident artist, will be live painting to music by DJ Dan Moses and DJ Lee Joseph (former resident DJ at Bigfoot Lodge) – masters in their craft of 50’s and 60’s lounge-genre – while VJ Terry Ellsworth presents visuals inspired by the swinging 60’s burlesque. In the patio, Blacklight Artist Jerico Woggon illuminates the scene with his Minimalist modern installation.

"Being inside creation, that is the driving force. I create art installations that infuse the environment with vibrant colors, fashion and dance. The work seeks to bring you an energy that is created by the moment and for the moment. I want to create a space where you can have it all: good friends and beauty all around."
