In this week’s episode, casting director and long-time voice actress Ashley Nguyen Dewitt joins us to talk about her amazing journey into the wonderful world of voiceover and cast directing. Ashley has worked in voiceover for a decade before eventually working her way into becoming an animation voice and casting director. Her casting voice directing credits include Ada Twist, Scientist, and the Steven Universe Anti-Racism Initiative. She has also provided voices for Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures.

Join us as Ashley and I talk about her journey where she went from being a musical theater major, an intern for a commercial voice casting company, to becoming the amazing and inspiring voice and cast director that she is today. Ashley also goes on to share why she resonated with Kristi Reed and how becoming Kristi’s mentee has impacted her work. Plus, she also shares which among the iconic 90s animation shows she loved watching growing up and how these shows have influenced her work today.
